The first one is definitely an advantage
The second one I believe is a disadvantage.
The third one is an advantage I believe as well.

Explanation: For the first one it would be an advantage because it had a large population, which was quite good for the confederate. As for the second one, it wouldn't be an advantage because it is talking about how the Union army could take Virginia not the Confederate. And for the third, it would be an advantage because 3 out of the 5 founders were born in Virginia, which would help the confederate.
