curtnewby:

Suppose you have a chance of winning with a scratch-off lottery ticket. If you buy 5 tickets, what is the probability of winning with all 5?

Arieonna:

well i would say i belive its 1/5 chance of winning

Vocaloid:

the probability of winning is missing from the problem - let's call it x. if probability of winning with one ticket is x, and each ticket is treated as an independent event, then winning with 5 tickets would be x * x * x * x * x or simply x^5.
