You need an equation in the form y=mx+b y = the amount of water x = the minutes 88 would be the variable b in the equation and 6 would be the variable m so your equation is y = 6x + 88 1b.) Plug 34 in for x y = 6(34) + 88 solve by multiplying 6 and 34 first which equal 204 then add 88 to 204 which equals 292 so your answer for this one would be y = 292 minutes (I will help with the other problems as well)

To find the y-intercept you would go up on the y-axis and find where the graph touches it and it touches it at 6000 The y-intercept tell us that he is jumping of out a plane at 6000 ft. 2b.) To find the slope you would subtract 1,45002 from 2,3000 which would be -8500. The slope tells to us tell us the skydiver is descending because the line on the graph declines to the right. 2c.) To find the x-intercept you would find where the graph touches the line on the x-axis and it touches it at 4. The x-intercept tells us he declines in four minutes. 2d.) You would take the numbers from the previous questions and write the equation in the form y=mx +b which would be y = -8500(4) + 6000 (I will help you one the third one as well)

To know when the bike is stationary you would need to look at the graph and tell when it is flat and it is flat for 3 minutes. 3c.) The greatest time he traveled is when the graph is the steepest. And it would be between 6 and 8, which would also be 3 minutes. You can tell by the graph being between those two numbers on the graph on the x-axis. 3d.) The bikers' greatest speed would be 80 meters per minute.
