supie:

volume of a rectangle is length x width x height 4 is the length, 3 is the width, and 6 is the height because 4 and 2 get added together to make 6

supie:

so just do 4 x 3 x 6

ihatelifeFS420:

4*3*6=72

5172319:

Ty have some more hold up

huh

ihatelifeFS420:

the third question u posted would be 18 because there are 18 cubes and there each one cubic inch

supie:

first i would get the volume for the big rectangle, to get the length we would do 15+15+12=42 and the width is 8, height is 10 \(42\times8\times10=3360\) then find the volume of the smaller rectangle, length is 12, width is 8, height is 10 so \(12\times8\times10=960\) then add the volumes of both of them, \(3360+960=4320\) 4320 is the answer

supie:

to the first one

Extrinix:

So first, you want to find what the area of truck side is, you can do this by removing the block above the front of the truck (\(3 \times 2 = 6ft^2\)) and setting that aside as part of the area. Now find the entire size of the side (\(10 \times 15\)) which would give you \(150 ft^2\). Now you simply add these two together (\(6ft^2 + 150ft^2\)) to find what the area of the one side is. (\(156ft^2\)) You can then take this and multiply it by \(8\) (the width in \(ft\) on the front side) \(156ft^2 \times 8\) So your volume of the truck would be \(1248ft^2\).

tyyyy

No problem.
