Update: I FINISHED MY PROLOGUE!!
Finished result:
She looked down at her father, hatred burning away at her. One gun pointed at his... y'know. And the other dead between his eyes. How had she ended up in this horrible mindset..? She loved her father at one point. They were the best of friends. She would put everything in her life on hold for him. But he cost her everything. He made her a monster. She realized, all too late, that he didn't give a damn about her. It was too late for her... But not, she hoped, for Meredith and Kris. "You wouldn't DARE, Evalynn. You love me too much." Those words, from him, sickened her. Before she even understood that her actions were, in fact, her own, both triggers had been pulled. Her father lay in his own pooling blood, dead immediately. She looked at the blood pooling and had to suppress the urge to laugh. All the craze would come out then. Plus, someone might hear her. Not that she didn't assume that someone hadn't heard the shots. She was happy he didn't scream. Didn't make too much of a sound, besides that one line. She was glad she wouldn't have to deal with him anymore.. But what about her sisters? Meredith and Kristina. She hadn't, apparently, thought it all through... She paced, thinking about what she could do with them. ... Of course. As her course of action became more clear, she scolded herself for not thinking of it off the bat. She would take them in. She was the best option, seeing as she was the next of kin. Who else could they be trusted with? Suzanne? Kimberly? Maybe, she chuckled to herself, they'd leave them with that chuckle nuts Drew. But she wouldn't let that happen, of course. She'd raise them as her own. Nobody would be able to tell they weren't. Slowly, piece by piece, everything to follow fell into place. But then the regret sunk in. Lately he was a monster. But before...
