ElexusQuimby:

What is the probability of drawing yellow marble followed by a red marble from a bag containing 12 yellow marbles, 16 red marbles, and 15 green marbles if the first marble is not replaced?

Arieonna:

ok this is easy all u have to do is add 12+16+15 what does that =

ElexusQuimby:

43. But it has to be probability. Like fractions.

Arieonna:

Yes so how much yellow marbles was there

ElexusQuimby:

12

Arieonna:

o so there probility of yellow barbles is 12/43 how much red marbles was there

ElexusQuimby:

16

Arieonna:

so the probility of red marbles is 16/43

ElexusQuimby:

okay? then what is the probability of picking yellow and then red?

Arieonna:

i told u the answer if u were to pick the yellow it would be 12/43 barbles but then u would have more chance to pick the red cause it is 16/43

ElexusQuimby:

These are my choices.

Arieonna:

ok so u would hae to pick the fraction that has 43 has the denominator

ElexusQuimby:

okay.

Arieonna:

does that explain it good enough

ElexusQuimby:

yes.

Arieonna:

I tried my best to ot just give the answer and explain it

ElexusQuimby:

ik thnak you.

Arieonna:

U bet
