Things we'd rather the world forget.
But sharing those secrets, we must beware,
For once they're told, they're no longer rare.

So keep your secrets close, my friend,
And trust only those who'll stand by you till the end.
For in this world, where secrets abound,
It's better to keep them locked up, safe and sound.

I love this poem so much. I do so whole heartedly agree that secrets should be kept close to your heart. I would never spill anyone's secret. And I also agree that we all have a past we liked to forget, I know I do but it wasn't because of sharing someone's secret.
