Lars:

What occurs when the trough of one light wave meets the crest of another light wave? A) wave building B) constructive interference C) wave destruction D) destructive interference

Lars:

I'm pretty sure that D is my answer. Am i right?

Renne:

D would be the answer because when two wave crests meet, their amplitude combines, resulting in constructive interference. On the other hand, if a wave crest meets a wave trough, they cancel each other out.

Sweet, that's what I thought. Thank you for confirming!
