OLIVER69:

Well, I'm not positive but pretty certain that some of the social issues in one of the most interesting decades in world history were the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War and antiwar protests, countercultural movements, political assassinations, and the emerging "generation gap."

There were many social issues that caused civil unrest in America in the last half of the 20th century. One of the most prominent was the Civil Rights Movement, which sought to end segregation and discrimination against African Americans. Other issues included the Vietnam War, women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and economic inequality. These issues sparked protests, marches, and sometimes violent clashes between civilians and law enforcement, leading to widespread unrest and social upheaval.
