Renne:

"roman battles"" The clash of swords, the roar of shields As Roman legions took to the field Their armor gleamed in the sun Their battle cry, "Rome shall be won!" Against barbarian hordes, they fought Their courage and strength could not be bought With discipline and tactics sound They conquered all that lay around From Carthage to the British Isles Their victories spanned many miles Their empire grew with each campaign Their power and glory did sustain But in the end, their fate was sealed Their enemies too strong to yield The Roman battles, a story to tell Of triumph and defeat, heaven and hell.
