"Happy hour"

My happy hours are gone,
All you do is lie and cheat.
I thought you were the one for me,
But you ripped my heart in two,
Making me feel like a fool.

Your promises were empty,
Your words were nothing but air.
You left me shattered and alone,
In despair beyond compare.

I trusted you with all my heart,
But you proved to be untrue.
Now I'm left with nothing but pain,
And memories of me and you.

But time will heal my broken heart,
And I'll find love once again.
I'll learn to trust, hope, dream,
And let my heart mend.

So farewell, my love, goodbye,
I'll leave you in the past.
And though my happy hours are gone,
My future's bright, and I'll last.

Awww, in this poem it sounds like something truly sad happened. I think that this poem has a meaning that lot's of people can relate to. Like me. I love all your poems, especially the one dedicated to me and others !! Great work here bsf !! <3
