Here is a poem I wrote

You lay in the grass
Its with someone you love
You lay there and laugh
At the cloud you see above
Their hands in yours
It's like a gold glove
You're heart is soaring
Like a flying dove
You know they'll be there
To give you that gentle shove…

The sun shines down on your face
As you hold them
In your warm embrace
You hold them tight
Keeping them in place
You look into their eyes
Just incase
But you can't see anything
That you’d want to erase
They are perfect
Someone you can't replace

You love them so much
You brush up against them
Just to feel their touch
You make sure they know their beautiful
Because you tell them such
They hold you up
They are your crutch
They are the one
That means oh so much

You pull them in for a kiss
And you start
To reminisce
Every single moment
Before this
And now you are lost
In a happy abyss
All because
Of one little kiss
