"Death"

Death, the inevitable fate,
A journey we all must undertake.
No matter how we try to evade it,
It comes for us, unafraid.

It may come in the dead of night,
Or on a day so bright.
But come it will, without a sound,
And leave us lying on the ground.

Some say death is but a sleep,
That we'll awaken from, so deep.
But others fear it's the end,
And that there's nothing left to mend.

Yet death is not the final say,
For in our memories, we'll stay.
Our loves ones will keep us alive,
And in their hearts, we'll thrive.

So let us not fear death's embrace,
But live our lives with love and grace.
For when the time comes to depart,
We'll leave behind a loving heart.
