if you’re looking into homicide detective, then idk, depends how you like it, not how other people might think of it as, i’m looking into the detective force as well and i really like watching crime documentaries and you learn some stuff from there so if you’re looking into that force i’d recommend watching those videos, but just know it takes a lot of time, effort, mentality n all of that since it’s a big job to do
