I have a question about a friend of mine?
does he look he could have a heavyweight or super middleweight body for boxing
He’s around 169 pounds but he wants to get around 200 pounds to get weight back due to weight loss and wants to get fitter to put on more muscle. He’s naturally bulky muscle. Please give opinions and positive ones.

Right now, I believe he is almost near to getting a heavyweight. Just maybe a few more weeks, and he will get it

Thank you for that. He wants to try out for boxing in heavyweight to participate in tournaments or so and take up lessons before then to gain experience and defense you know. He has lost weight frequently due to stress from his personal problems and want to go out to get fit to work on his chest to be shapen up, work on his stomach to get 6 pack abs, and gain muscle mass and size. What appears to you on the pictures from his physique where he seems close to being heavyweight because I’m curious why as he’s 5’5 and strong. He’s around 169 pounds due to like I said from weight loss

To me, he looks like a middleweight, I'm over 200 lol but he looks like a middle weight, has he had any medical conditions that made him lose weight or was it because he lost himself?

No, it was due to stress nothing medical or did anything to lose weight himself. He is planning to workout as much possible. He wants to be bulk and have a heavyweight frame because he is curious whether he has a heavyweight or middleweight look because he is big and bulk also stronger when he lift and can flex but his physique isn’t much defined yet

He wants to get fit and have his body similar like Mike Tyson not exact because that’s not possible due to genes but similar
What type of work outs does he actually do? Like the names.
RodrigoGuevara:
Does this guy actually work out? Boxing is a very physical sport and the boxers are usually pretty fit and well muscled. Your friend's got a bit of a gut and man-Ice Creams. Not trying to be mean or anything, but he's got a lot of weight to lose so he can replace it with muscle.
NotLeiland:
He needs to work on benching more if he's looking for chest or pectorals. If he's worried about abdomen/core muscles, Russian twists and ab rollers are working pretty well for me.

He’s thinking of to get a personal trainer to help him to get fit and plan out a workout plan made for his body type

Not currently but he’s going to. He wants to get a trainer and work on his physique to be fit as a boxer in heavyweight .

Do you think he has some fat percentage to lose for to build six pack and definitely his chest too
NotLeiland:
I think if he does the workout and burns off the calories and excess fat then he has a good chance

I agree but I will begin so when he can because he wants to be in better shape and have defined physique . For good health and be fit in boxing to try out

Another good thing for definition (after the excess fat is taken care of) is ice baths. They have been proven to tighten pores/skin and improve cardiovascular health

Cold water works too, but not as effective.
