A poem I made! about my father

This is for the dads who are emotionally abusive
This is for the dads who are physically abusive
This is for the dads who left their child in the cold winter day
With tanks tops and shorts
When there was frost on the windows

For the times you made me feel worthless and lonley
For the times i felt like i was stuck in your mindgames
Controlling me with strings on my arms like a puppet.
I felt scared looking into your eyes that were bright red as blood
For the times you made me scared to say anything to you.
For the times I wish you were there for me.
Now I just see you as an abusier and not my father.
For the times you were like a scary monster in my closet
This is for the times you never had time for me
For the times you manipulated me when I was 10
For the times you treated me like an animal.
Told me I was a mistake
For the times you told me no one would love me
This is for the dads who are emotionally abusive
This is for the dads who are physically abusive.
This is for the dads who leave their child in the cold winter day
For the times you threatend me
For the times you told me no one wanted me
I felt stuck in this box with all of your horrifying words
The box holding me inside
Me banging on the box to get out
But you kept saying “no”
Told me I belonged in the trash
For the times you never went to any of my volleyball games.
For the times you told me i was an embarrassment
Treated me like i couldnt do anything right
This is for the dads who are emotionally abusive
This is for the dads who are physically abusive
This is for the dads who leave their child in the cold winter day
Now i'm doing amazing
I'm out of the box you put me in
I am loved for who I am
Just know I still love you

I Love the message that is put in it I Go through the same mess and Even though it hurts i still love him and never wanna put him in harms way cause i mean he also has other kids besides me and I don't wanna hurt them But anyways I Absolutely Love this poem and Hope to see more from you
