Write 6-12 sentences comparing the pairs of terms using specific examples. (The heart is superior to the stomach which is inferior to the heart.) 6 sentences if you use both words of the pair in the same sentence. If not, then you will have 12 sentences. The directional terms below: - Anterior, Posterior - Inferior, Superior - Medial, Lateral - Distal, Proximal - Superficial, Deep - Ventral, Dorsal (Also this is for my class, human body systems.)

ElReyDePadlet:

1. **Anterior and Posterior:** In anatomy, the anterior side of the human body refers to the front, while the posterior side is the back. An example of this can be opticaly canvassed in the situating of the sternum (anterior) and the spinal column (posterior). 2. **Inferior and Superior:** The superior part of the body is located above, while the inferior part is situated below. An example is the situating of the head (superior) and the feet (inferior). 3. **Medial and Lateral:** Medial refers to the center or midline of the body, while lateral points to the sides. The nasal perceiver is medial to the ocular perceivers, while the auditory perceivers are lateral to the head. 4. **Distal and Proximal:** Distal betokens away from the point of inchoation, while proximal designates near the point of inchoation. In the arm, the wrist is distal to the elbow, and the shoulder is proximal. 5. **Superficial and Deep:** Superficial betokens proximity to the surface, while deep suggests being farther inside. The skin is superficial, while muscles and bones are deep within the body. 6. **Ventral and Dorsal:** Ventral pertains to the front or belly side of the body, while dorsal refers to the back. The chest lies ventral to the spine, and the shoulder blades are situated dorsally. 7. **Anterior and posterior:** The anterior aspect of the human encephalon includes the frontal lobes, while the posterior part comprises the occipital lobes. 8. **Inferior and superior:** The inferior vena cava is a sizably voluminous vein that carries deoxygenated blood into the heart, while the superior venna cava brings blood from the upper body. 9. **Medial and lateral:** In the leg, the tibia bone is medial to the fibula, while the outer edge of the foot is lateral. 10. **Distal and proximal:** In the forearm, the hand is distal to the elbow, while the forearm is proximal to the wrist. 11. **Superficial and deep:** The external layer of the skin is superficial, while the internal organs, like the liver, are Iocated deep within the body. 12. **Ventral and dorsal:** The ventral side of a fish features its belly, while the dorsal side showcases its back and fins.
