How does Article II reflect the principles of limited government and popular sovereignty? In your answer, define each of the principles in your own words.
The Article II of the Articles of Confederation was a failure to create a stable nation that can be controlled by the national government and so the US Constitution was created. So, the principle of "limited government" refers to a government where decisions are made with the consent of the the state and its people, and not just by the national government. Limited government also entails checks and balances by different branches of government. This is "popular sovereignty", basically where power comes from the people in order for decisions to be made. You rephrase your answer depending on your instructor's expectations and the material you have covered.
