Life can be a fickle friend,
One moment high, the next descend.
Let downs come and tears may fall,
But hope can rise above it all.

When plans go awry and dreams are dashed,
It's easy to feel lost and smashed.
But take a breath and look around,
New paths can often be found.

Embrace the journey, twists and turns,
For even when the fire burns,
A phoenix can rise from the ash,
Reborn anew with a stronger dash.

So don't give up when letdowns come,
Keep moving forward, don't succumb.
Life can be a beautiful ride,
With ups and downs side by side.
