Some poems I've written

"smile"
They told me to smile,
Doesn't matter if it's fake.
Told me to hide my pain,
Put on a happy face.
Well I did what they said,
And I did it well.
Until the day came,
Where my smile fell.

"Hide"
Can I hide away the pain,
Hide away the tears,
Hide away the hurt,
You've been causing for years.
Can I hide away the dread,
Hide away the fear,
Hide away the anxiety,
I've been hiding here,
Can I hide away the hate,
Hide away the lies,
Hide away the pain I hold in my eyes..

"sleep"
I just want to sleep,
All day if I can,
I don't want to think.
Repeating the cycle again.
And again.
Crawl under the sheets.
Feel myself sink.
Away from the world,
Shut down my mind,
Pull the power on me,
Draw the curtains,
The darkness is deep,
With it brings the cold,
A cave of it's own,
This is where I feel home.
Closing my eyes,
Leaving this dream,
On to the next.
My mind has been wracked,
Hear has been beat,
So I lay them down,
To rest & retreat.
If I wake too soon,
I'll hit repeat.
I'm tired of the madness,
I just want to sleep.

I personally like "Smile" the best, bc it hits hard for me, but i love them all!!

i made one a while back, it was the first one i made, and looking back on it its not that good, but it is ok
