Some poems I've written


"Smile"
They told me to smile,
Doesn't matter if it's fake.
Told me to hide my pain,
Put on a happy face.
Well I did what they said,
And I did it well.
Until the day came,
Where my smile fell.

"Hide"
Can I hide away the pain,
Hide away the tears,
Hide away the hurt,
You've been causing for years,
Can I hide away the dread,
Hide away the fear,
Hide away the anxiety,
I've been Hiding here,
Can I hide away the hate,
Hide away the lies,
Hide away the pain I hold in my eyes.

"The Waters"
It's hard to have hope,
In humanity when,
Even the waves,
Despise each other,
Each pushing the other back,
Keeping it from,
Reaching it's full potential.
If the waters,
Can be so cruel.
How much more of us,
Who have the motive,
And the means,
To do much worse.

"Sleep"
I just want to sleep,
All day if I can,
I don't want to think.
Repeating the cycle again.
And again.
Crawl under the sheets.
Feel myself sink.
Away from the world,
Shut down my mind,
Pull the power on me,
Draw the curtains,
The darkness is deep,
With it bring the cold,
A cave of it's own,
This is where I feel home.
Closing my eyes,
Leaving this dream,
On to the next.
My mind has been wracked,
Hear has been beat,
To rest and retreat.
If I wake too soon,
I'll heat repeat.
I'm tired of madness,
I just want to sleep.

In a way all these poems relate to each other and could be made into one poem if you wanted, which I think would be cool. I think you did a really good job, my favorite is either "Smile" or "The Waters", but they were all good in general. Keep up the good work.

I love "Hide" "smile" and "the waters" They are amazing all of your poems are but these three are burning with an enormous amount of emotion and Truth. I love what your doing keep it up!
