What are your thoughts?

I can give you a general idea just based off of the answer choices. A ~ Because Americans identify with Pluto's spirit. --Pluto may be no longer called a planet, but rather a dwarf planet, but planets don't generally have spirits. B ~ Because Pluto seems so small and far away. -- That just takes the point away from the question. There are other galaxies, nebulas, and even planets that have yet to be discovered, but that doesn't stop them from finding more information on what's out there. C ~ Because a Disney character is also named Pluto. -- This is true, there is a Disney character named Pluto, which is commonly used in Mickey Mouse. And Mickey Mouse character(s) itself is beloved by many all across the world. D ~ Because the rest of the world doesn't care. -- Also defeats the purpose of the question, even though it does identify in the question "America's favorite planet". Here's a short article that may help as well for the question: https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=100145890
