There's a difference between a segment bisector, and a angle bisector. Here's what a segment bisector looks like (image provided). Segment bisectors typically are straight and have a 90 degree angle:
Whilst an angle bisector is normally set at an angle, and not 90 degrees, which explains why it's called an "angle bisector. Typically angle bisectors don't have a given angle degree either. Here's a provided example of an angle bisector at 45 degrees:
