math help
with what???
wasnt letting me replay anymore
As I stated in your previous post, cross multiply. \(2(3x+9) = 9(x-9)\) Simplified: \(6x+18 = 9x - 81\) Solve from there.
15x=neagetive 63 right?
Not quite, you added 9x to 6x, you're suppose to do the opposite so they cancel out, in this case you subtract
So what's 6x-9x?
Brief RIP for my wifi. You also forgot to swap the values when you got -63 as well, you should subtract 18 from-81. ( \(18-(-81)\) )
oh its -5x
then u divded by 63?
No, there's no 63 at all inside of the equation solving.
omg ok so like what
To solve the equation 2 - 9/3x + 9 = 2/9, we can follow these steps: Simplify the equation by combining like terms: 11 - 9/3x = 2/9. Multiply both sides of the equation by 9 to get rid of the fractions: 99 - 3x = 2. Subtract 99 from both sides: -3x = 2 - 99. Simplify: -3x = -97. Divide both sides of the equation by -3: x = -97/-3. Simplify: x = 97/3. Therefore, the solution to the equation is x = 97/3.
