You can't set polls on here, but what you can do, is type in ur question in the box in your top left, and then click select subject !!

When typing a question, you'll see a popup that says "Select A Subject" - which clearly you saw since there is no default subject and you managed to post this question.

If you mean how do you switch to a subject, you open the menu, click the top thing, and select your subject.

and it didnt require me to select a subject, i accidentally refreshed the tab completly and now it wont let me change anything

Just to let you know, you were able to when this was posted. If you're looking for "all" subjects, there's a chat at the bottom right of your screen.
If there's a specific subject you're looking for, and we don't have it, you're more than welcome to post it in Miscellaneous.

If not, something that worked for me on my old device was to go to the button in the top-left corner of the screen and click on it. Afterwards, click on the button that says "All Subjects".
