Let me show you!

SmoothCriminal:

To divide fractions \(\frac{a}{b}\) by \(\frac{c}{d}\), you can use the reciprocal (invert and multiply) method: \[ \frac{a}{b} \div \frac{c}{d} = \frac{a}{b} \cdot \frac{d}{c} \] Now, let's use an example: \[ \frac{3}{4} \div \frac{1}{2} = \frac{3}{4} \cdot \frac{2}{1} \] Next, perform the multiplication: \[ = \frac{3 \cdot 2}{4 \cdot 1} = \frac{6}{4} \] Simplify the fraction: \[ = \frac{3}{2} \] So, \(\frac{3}{4} \div \frac{1}{2} = \frac{3}{2}\).

JacobPG:

Alright, thanks! That really helped! Appreciate your help!

M10M:

If I am right you put the fractions next to each other and divide the top by the top and the bottom by the bottom
