Then for the first paragraph, we could probably add on "The first horror show called "Le Manoir du Diable" also known as "The Haunted Castle," was made in 1896. It's a 3-minute film containing cauldrons, animated skeletons, ghosts, etc.

In 1900 through 1920 there was a influx of horror themed films. Many filmmakers turned to literature classics for references. The first adaption of Frankenstein was made during these days, along with many other classics.

And finally, in the 1930's, the word "horror" was  used to describe the genre. It used to be called romance melodrama with a dark element.

Well, yes, kind of. But also most of the posts you answer are poem or song posts, or just random miscellaneous ones. But there are ones like this, where you're giving the direct answer. You did cite your sources alright, but you have to explain it to them, you can't just give them the answer, or how else would they learn?
