Hey guys! can u please help me understand how to do this!?
I can help
THANKS
Ohh. I get this! I just did this! Okay so. We have 81 raised to the power of 1/2. This is the same as finding the square root of 81. Another way to look at this is 81^1/2 OR sqrt of 81. What is the square root of 81? Once you find that, that's the answer of 81 to the power of 1/2.
Of course! Let me know if you need any more help.
major help lol
but thats later on in math class!
This was actually my homework last night lol. But it was more with variables and substitution.
i'm not sure if this is the right answer i think it's nine because
The answer is 9 I don't know if you can see, but you can use a calculator (ti-84) First type in 81 then hit the button on the far left column that says "x^2) press delete then type in 1/2
\[81^{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }}=(9^{2})^{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }}=9^{\frac{ 1 }{ 2}\times 2}=9\]
;-;
Can you close this post? Clears out the posts so we know who has been helped and who needs help.
