velmalovesshaggy145:

When I go to college I plan on getting a degree in Computer Science, so I can become a video game designer. What should my minor be, because I'm considering something dealing with music? Any suggestions

freshavacado850:

wait so are you wanting to do something in computers or music? what you said doesn't really make sense. I dont think computer science is in the same category as video game designer, and also music doesnt have anything to do with any of those.

velmalovesshaggy145:

Video games are a very stimulating activity for me, and I am positive that it makes other people happy, like I am when I play video games. I learned that to really be considered, for a video game designer/developer. You need will most likely need at least a 4 year bachelor's degree in computer science. I wouldn't feel satisfied drawing preliminary sketches of possible characters, or doing graphic design. I would be most content, creating games. Even if it changes one person's life that will be a win in my book. I am a talented musician who plays instruments such as: Guitar,Piano,Violin,Drums, and Drum machine. I love music so much that I am considering making music my minor, even though it doesn't directly correlate to video games. Other than video games needing fire music. So I was asking everyone if they had an suggestions on what I should/could do.

velmalovesshaggy145:

Done

A “minor” is a secondary area of specialization

velmalovesshaggy145:

Minors usually compliment ur major in some way

velmalovesshaggy145:

It can differ too

velmalovesshaggy145:

Look up what a minor is most of them are the same
