Here's a couple poems I wrote two days ago
#1. Let you Go
Oh I love it
How you pretend like you understand
When you don't
You only see what you want to see
Doesn't mean you know the real me
Believe me, if you stepped in my shoes
You'd see things from a completely different point of view
Oh I wish I never knew you
So I could undo the pain caused by you
But I can't.
So take all that store bought sh**
And burn it to the ground
Money can't buy my love
For what it's worth it never does
So go on
Drag my name through the dirt in that town
Tell em your biggest regret was knowing me
But mine was falling in love then falling apart
You say I did you wrong boy
But I did what I had to do
To protect my cracked heart from you
But I can't undo the h e l l you put me through
So this is me leaving you behind in the rearview mirror
Saying goodbye and never looking back.
Gotta try to heal but I know I'm gonna be okay now.
Now that I let you go.

I wish they knew just how bad
These thoughts are inside of my head
I've done everything, it won't end
No one seems to understand
Just how badly I wanna let go
I'm done holding on to hope
Hearing "It'll get better" is getting old
Tired of feeling so alone, so cold
I hate how you think I'm throwing my life away
But you don't know the battles I face everyday
It's a constant struggle and I can't escape.
Blood running in my veins
A painful reminder that I'm still alive
God I'm tired of trying
Tired of fighting
When all I get is nowhere
I'm starting not to care
Even if the pain is too much to bear
The struggles, the pain, the tears will be worth it though
When I finally let go...
