In the corners of my mind, they reside,
Memories of the past, forever tied.
Whispers of laughter and tears unshed,
Etched in my heart, where they've been fed.

The scent of morning dew on summer's rise,
A gentle touch that made my spirit rise.
The taste of sweetness on eager lips,
A fleeting moment, cherished as it slips.

Moments frozen, like photographs spread.
The laughter echoes in the empty halls,
The tears, a river that silently calls.

In shadows cast upon my weary soul,
