In the dead of night, when the world is still
And the shadows dance upon the hill
A chill runs down my spine, a shiver in my bones
As I hear the whispers of the unknown

The trees creak and groan, their limbs entwined
In a macabre embrace, a ghostly find
The wind howls like a beast, its cries so wild
As if the very soul of nature's child

The stars above, they twinkle and gleam
But in their light, I see a sinister scheme
A world of darkness, a realm of fear
Where the horrors of the night draw near

The moon, a crescent smile, so pale and thin
Hides the secrets of the grave within
The graveyard, a place of rest and peace
But here, the dead do not find release

For in this place, the horrors roam and prey
On the living, who dare not stay
Their screams and moans, a chorus of despair
As the horrors feast on their fear and prayer
