I didn't draw any for these art on my mind, but I didn't trace either.

Basically what I did was have a picture next to me and then have my sketchbook in front of me, and I would look to the picture and see what detailing I need to add and just put it to the drawing pad.

You could say it's pretty much sharp precision and accuracy to get it to look the same as the actual picture.
