I would say that whether or not a person is truly good depends on a person's personality and actions. It would maybe also involve their word choice as well.

For example, if you say something hateful to another person, those words could potentially have an effect on how that person sees you. They would see you as a terrible person. However, if you said something good to a person, that person would see you as a kind and gentle person.
