Question

Hey guys here's another poem. I just now finished it. I was working on it for a while but it took me weeks to really finish it. I hope you like it...

Receding footsteps
Down the stairs
I follow the sound of your voice but you're not there
Every day you haunt me
In my sleep, in my dreams...
I want back what's already gone
Most days my heart is heavy but I know I have to be strong
Because that's what you would tell me
If you were still around
In my mind I hear your laughter but you're nowhere to be found
Why did you leave me?
Ii t isn't fair
I'm still living, while you're with the man upstairs
I know it's wrong
But if I could
I'd change places so dying you never would.
Things happen for a reason even we don't understand
Even heartbreak was a part of God's plan..
"He always has a reason" you used to say
But when you left the joy was replaced with pain...
I wish I could bring you back
I wish I could've made you see
That dying isn't always the answer
You weren't alone, you had me.....
