Hey guys here's another poem. I just now finished it. I was working on it for a while but it took me weeks to really finish it. I hope you like it...

Receding footsteps
Down the stairs
I follow the sound of your voice but you're not there
Every day you haunt me
In my sleep, in my dreams...
I want back what's already gone
Most days my heart is heavy but I know I have to be strong
Because that's what you would tell me
If you were still around
In my mind I hear your laughter but you're nowhere to be found
Why did you leave me?
It isn't fair
I'm still living, while you're with the man upstairs
I know it's wrong
But if I could
I'd change places so dying you never would.
Things happen for a reason even we don't understand
Even if heartbreak was a part of God's plan..
"He always has a reason" you used to say
But when you left the joy was replaced with pain...
I wish I could bring you back
I wish I could've made you see
That dying isn't always the answer
You weren't alone, you had me.....

In time and space where hearts collide
A beautiful dance that takes us for a ride
A combination of passion, enchanting the mind
A whirlpool of emotions too strong to fight
It'll pull you in like a hook on a line
Making temptation easy to find
With every beat, a tale unfolds
Of love's embrace, a sight to behold
In a world where souls intertwine,
Love's symphony, both gentle and divine.
Through whispered words and a tender touch,
These parts of you that I love so much.
Emotions surge like a tempest's roar,
Leaving us wanting, craving for more.
But love's dance can lead to despair
When hearts are broken, left threadbare.
The once enchanting spell, now fades away
Leaving us wounded in bitter dismay.
Yet even in heartbreaks bitter sting,
A seed of hope, like a birds sweet melody.
For wounds will heal and hearts will mend.
Love's resilience, it never truly ends.
