Lucas sits alone, staring at the sky, Recalling memories of days gone by, When Macaroni was by his side, His faithful friend, his joy, his pride. Macaroni, the Australian shepherd, With fur as bright as the sun's first gleam, Lucas can still see him in his dreams, Running and playing in a meadow of green. But now Macaroni is no more, And Lucas misses him to his core, The way he'd bark and wag his tail, And never let Lucas out of his sight, without fail. Lucas remembers how they'd explore, The woods, the park, and the seashore, And how Macaroni would always find, The best spots to play, unwind and dine. Lucas knows Macaroni is still with him, In his heart, his soul, his very being, Forever his friend, forever his guide, With him always, side by side. So Lucas sits alone, and sheds a tear, For his best friend who's no longer here, But in his heart and memories, Macaroni lives on, As bright and beautiful as the rising dawn.

I mean it's nice I guess, but i kind of zoned out once I got to the Australian shepherd part. I got kind of bored and I yawned a few times during this. I'm just being honest and I rather spill the truth then suck up like most people do. But yeah the other poem was a lot better, this one was a snooze-fest. But I think you are some what talented.
