Standard: Student can use a system of linear inequalities to model and find solutions to a real-world problem.
Tyler charges $15 per hour to mow lawns and $20 per hour for gardening. His goal is to make at least $300 per week. He is only allowed to work at most 20 hours per week during the summer.
A. Create a system inequalities that model the situation. Fill in the missing numbers and inequality.
Inequality 1 ($): __x + __y (≤ or ≥) $300
Inequality 2 (hours): 1x + 1y (≤ or ≥) 20
B. Graph the system you wrote in part A.
