Pope Gregory IIV
Pope Gregory IIV is the one who excommunicated the king because he wanted more power so he decided to divide the church later on he begged the king for protection though it was too late. Not only that he took a lot of power because the king decided to band all worshiped idols and the citizens were furious so the pope acted like he supported them. In reality he just made matters worse.
