In the depths of my soul, a love story untold,
Drenched in tears of longing, a tale of shattered gold,
For fate, with cruel hands, spun its web so unjust,
Never allowing my heart to touch the one I truly trust.

Oh, how I yearn to fall into her radiant grace,
To hold her hand and feel the warmth of her embrace,
But destiny, relentless, keeps us miles apart,
A cruel divide carved deep within my aching heart.

Her smile, a beacon amidst the darkest night,
Resplendent like stars, casting away all fright,
Yet, like a moth drawn to a burning flame,
Her love remains beyond the reach of my claim.

I watch her from afar as she laughs and plays,
Her laughter like a melody, guiding my way,
But as I drift closer, hoping for a glance,
Fate, with its wicked games, casts me away in a trance.

Why must the gods torment a lovestruck soul,
To tease, to taunt, and never make me whole?
Her beauty, a masterpiece, forever out of sight,
A distant dream, fading into endless night.

Through endless nights, I pen my heart's despair,
Aching with each word, burdened by this snare,
For she, the girl of my dreams, will never know,
How deep my love runs, how it continues to grow.

Each day a melody of hope and despair,
As I yearn for a touch, a whisper in the air,
But the stars are witnesses to my endless plight,
Bound by the chains of a love that's out of sight.

So, let the tears flow, like a river unrestrained,
My love for her forever locked, forever unexplained,
For never will our paths intertwine, it seems,
A forbidden love, lost in the depths of broken dreams.

But still, in the solitude of my heart's retreat,
I'll treasure her existence, a love bittersweet,
Though destiny may never grant the love I crave,
I'll hold her memory dear, in the depths of love's grave.

And so, my tear-stained pen, now falls to rest,
With a melancholic sigh, it lets go and detests,
For in this painful truth, I'll find solace and elation,
In the unrequited love that stirs my deepest sensation.
