Hey yall heres my story so far. Ill post updates.
If I loved you would you love me?
Chapter one:
We were on our way to school. Most clearly, it was our first day of school, even though I didn't have a license. Me and my older sister Myrna weren't talking much. I was mainly thinking about that this was my Junior year. They say that this is the year. The year. I wanted to do what I could to make new memories and friends, maybe even a love interest. “What are you thinking about?” said Myrna intruding on my thoughts.
“Oh, nothing”
“No, you’re thinking about something. Is it a boy?”
“Ha, I wish. You know I never could.”
“Hm. You sure you don't want to talk?”
I nod. She doesn't push the envelope. Soon enough we’re at school.
“Okay get out of the driver's seat. I have to drive this to college” she says.
“Okay”
I wave her off and walk up to the doors. I see her. My partner in crime and the one I can confide in with anything. Her name is Scarlett. We’ve been best friends since she gave me her chicken nugget in kindergarten.

“Hey! How's my girl?” She says.
“Good, of course,” I say.
“Well, now where here,” She looks at the school and the students and exhales. “If nothing happens this year, I'm going to hell.”
I laugh. “I guess we both will if it happens”.
We both walk in the hustle and bustle of the kids going to their classes. We both have different homerooms. So I tell her I’ll see her at lunch. I start walking toward my class, and then my phone dings. So, I ended up walking and texting. All of a sudden I stop walking and am jolted back a couple steps back. When I look up a few books are scattered about. That's when I knew that I ran into someone. I look up to see who it is. I almost d*e. It's Zach Mcleian. Zach! I used to be so obsessed with him. Poor Scarlett had to hear me. He never liked me back though. Everyone said he was gay. Only jokingly though. He’s pretty popular, so no one could make fun of him. I stopped being obsessed when we got to middle school, and he thought he was better than everyone. Anyway, he had a girlfriend.
“Hello? Hello?” He pulls me back to reality.
“Oh, crap! I am so sorry!” I hurried and tried to pick up the books for him but he grabbed my arm.
“It's okay, I can do it. Just making sure you were okay. Are your glasses not the right prescription?”
“Haha. You’re so funny.”
“Why thanks, I thought so too.”
“I wasn't being honest”
“I know.”
I roll my eyes.
“Why do you hate me?” He says.
“I don't. But I have to get to class. So bye!” I wave and run to class. I can feel he’s still looking at me. I try to ignore the feeling. Feelings can be liars. Just like they were when I was younger. I wrote him a love letter, like the ones in To All The Boys I’ve Loved before. It helped me let go. Which I did. Happily. I don't like loving people and letting people in.
