Tired
Illuminous:
Alright.
Illuminous:
Tired of studying, my mind feels like mush,
Bored of books, my thoughts in a rush.
I long for laughter, joy, and play,
To leave these lectures behind, come what may.
My eyes grow heavy, my head spins round,
As formulas and facts spinning all around.
I yearn for adventure, excitement too,
A break from the routine, something new.
Oh how I dream of freedom and fun,
Of days without deadlines, when the sun is done.
When I can dance, sing, and run free,
Without a care or worry, wild and gleeful me.
But alas, responsibilities call my name,
And duty whispers, "Study hard, it's not a game."
So I must push on, through the strife,
And strive to learn, though life is rife.
For one day soon, I'll soar away,
From this prison of pages, night and day.
Into the world, where I'll find my place,
Where learning will bloom, with grace.

Here you are
In twisted tongues, they spoke of hate,
A poison that seeped into my fate.
Betrayal's sting, like a serpent's bite,
Left me in darkness, without light.
Their words, like knives, cut deep inside,
Leaving scars that would not subside.
Hate's cold grip, it seemed to thrive,
As I struggled to stay alive.
But still, I held on to hope,
A fragile thread, a distant scope.
For in the end, love will prevail,
And heal the wounds that hate had caused.
Though the road ahead may seem long,
I'll find my strength, and sing my song.
For in the end, love will win out,
And cast hate and betrayal down.

stressed
In fields of green, where worries flee
A gentle breeze does softly sway
The trees that tower high and free
Bring peace to those who come to play
Their leaves rustle in harmony
As birds sing sweet melodies
Their trunks so strong and sturdy
Protect all who seek shelter here
But then there's stress, a force so bold
It creeps into our lives untold
With pressures great and heavy load
It weighs us down, like winter's snow
It twists our minds and makes us frown
And fills our hearts with fear and doubt
But still, we must not let it drown
Our spirits or our hope devout
For in these woods, we find reprieve
From worldly cares that bring disease
So let us breathe this forest air
And let our troubles disappear
