does anyone know the psychology behind depression
There’s a lot of reasons behind depression. Everyone’s life experiences are different based on how people are raised, or even everyday experiences. Some can have different traumatic experiences growing up, some of it may even be genetic .
Again, there’s a lot behind it. I would recommend if you’re struggling, seek professional support that supports your needs, listens, and willing to help you cope. You may also try doing small things throughout the day that may help as well. Smaller steps may help with something that may seem big. Taking it day by day and not rushing, or making yourself feel rushed may help.

Depression can happen for many reasons but definitely are caused by bad experiences in life. Such as trauma, abuse or insecurity. You can feel like you don't matter or that you're not really motivated to do anything. Most people try to force themself to be happy or distract themself from it, but for the most part the best way to drown it out is by loving yourself and surrounding yourself by people who are there for you and are not afraid to show it.
