Evaluating a piecewise-defined function, I need help on this plz
After you plug in -1 for the first one, you get the answer of 3/4 After you plug in 2 for the second one, you get the answer of 3/2 After you plug in 4 for the third one, you get the answer of 2 I'm sure that I am correct, but yeah I hope this helps. ^_^
TThankk you, oh its saying the second one incorrect
Can you do it as a decimal? Because if you can, try 1.5 for it instead... if that's still incorrect, i'll see what i did wrong and try to help you more
Still wrong but its saying that the second one =3
hers the next one
Okay well sorry I got that wrong, but I think I know what i did wrong... now for the next image... I hope I can help you The first answer should be -1, when you plug 1 in the second equation for x The second answer should be -6 when you plug 2 in to the second equation for x And the last answer should be 4 to when you plug 4 in to the third equation for x
