I think it's good enough at the moment. If you feel like adding more, you should - keep in mind that this song is about your best friend, so you should have a lot to say about them.

I think it's pretty good. You could format it a little bit better, it sounds like it's in an ababcb song structure. A suggestion, you could rewrite it but just with the parts of the song labeled. For clarification, ababcb is Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Bridge. Here's a few more lyrics you could add somewhere.

I don't know what I'd do without you by my side
You make everything better, make me feel alive
I hope our friendship lasts forever, never fades
And that we'll always be there for each other, through the shades

Also some constructive criticism, I think you should work on the song's rhyming so it flows a little bit better.Hope that helps!
