Is there anything I should be weary of experiencing, now that I got my girl pregnant? Like a change in her behavior, feelings, stuff like that. Also, I hate that this has crossed my mind at all but: Is it normal to question mine and her relationship, because we used birth control and did the things we were aware of that we needed to do to prevent this from happening, AND IT STILL DID.
I know I get on most of y'all nerves,(because I find it amusing 😓) but I really need help during this period in my life. As I said in a recent song I posted I truly am stressed and depressed.
All in all, I knew I would be a father one day, but not this day. I'm about to graduate early with AP and Honors credit, go off to college and sh1t. I have dreams and aspirations I am passionate about, and I do not know if a kid will fit in with them.
And you guys are probably like "Why don't you ask your parents this stuff?" Well, they are still upset with me for getting my girlfriend pregnant, when we are not married and so young. I'm Christian too, so this is a double whammy fr fr 😮💨.
Advice, support, and answers to my questions(most likely more to come) are appreciated. I ask that you be sensitive to my situation, have a great day.

Well you could say that you weren't expecting it to happen and that you aren't ready nor prepared to have a child right now and that you think you aren't responsible enough at the moment to take care of another human being, especially since babies need all the attention they can get. But just be straight forward and honest with her.

You have a lot of hard decisions ahead of you. Whether if you decide to be a father in this child's life or not, you have to be ready for the future you envisioned for yourself being drastically different. Especially if you decide to help raise the child, college may not be in the cards.
Raising a child is quite difficult, some would say impossible. Doing it alone is something I would never wish on a woman, which is something you should think about. How were you raised? Did you have two loving parents? What kind of life do you want for your child? Whether if you decide to be in its life, it will always be yours.
I would encourage you to reconcile with your family, as having a child at this age means you and your gf are very unprepared. You will both need the support of your family, whether if that's financial, babysitting (while you work or go to college), or just general advice.
They have every right to be upset with you, because you did something that is frankly irresponsible. You brought a child into this world when you weren't expecting or ready for it. I hope you take responsibility over that, because while this will be incredibly difficult, children are a blessing and will bring much joy and meaning into your life.
