I Need Plot ideas! (Again.. Sorry :'oD)

Still working on my novel atm, and I'm getting quite frustrated.
I've decided that I want to start over (And have) But I'm not sure how I want to open my novel! I know in the future that I will need a community to push back on and ask for help, and I feel like here is a perfect place to do so.

This will also deep dive into my characters, Ideas, and plot for those who haven't seen my prev. closed question! :)

Our Main character, Aleksander, a 19 year old Finnish/Croatian guard, stationed as the guard of one of three potential wives of my FAVV love interest.. the Picky Price Kota ;)))

Maybe a corrupt government that has Aleksander stationed at the home of someone whose assassination must be obscured. People will think it's suicide if the guard of the home claimed no one went in or left on the night of her assassination. So Aleksander not only has to protect the woman (or women) from this, but also has to find a way to throw off the government. Perhaps he helps fake their deaths, while he exfiltrates them?

Because the government specifically stationed him there to be the cover-up. He was tasked to feign ignorance and go along with the story that it was a suicide

Maybe the women are being assassinated for knowing some of the higher up member names of a gang that colludes with the government to split profits for their drug smuggling. And the politicians in government can't let their names be exposed by those gang members, as they would very quickly rat them out if things turn sour. And currently the women are eye-witnesses to this gang's illegal activities and have been placed under a special protective domain that protects those about to give testimonies on a particularly dangerous court case. Those politicians can't let them give those testimonies or they're done
