What is your definition of a midlife crisis? I'm checking over my ap psychology retrieval guide(still have hw), and I must have either skipped it or the teacher must have not included an example in the slides. This what I got so far: A period of psychological distress thought to occur in some individuals during the middle years of adulthood, roughly from ages 35 to 65 Possible causes may include: Significant life events Mental health Multiple illnesses Death of a loved one Death of a favorite anime character Dying in a video game Gettin chased by Michael Myers Gettin chased by Jason Getting chased by the murderer from “Thanksgiving” Was also gonna put impregnating your girlfriend, while using birth control😮💨.But that's a common yet far-fetched idea and they are in the mid-age stage of their life. My W mother said, "Life expectancy has changed from 100s to around 85 years old. But people are dying young and that makes me worry, what age is going to be my last, regarding health concerns. It causes anxiety, which could lead to a mid-life crisis."
Crazy, I didn't put John Carver.
A midlife crisis is a period of doubt, anxiety, or self-questioning that some people experience in middle age. It is often characterized by a sense of dissatisfaction with one's accomplishments, a fear of aging and death, and a desire to make significant changes in one's life. Some people may feel a sense of boredom or restlessness, while others may experience feelings of regret or nostalgia for their youth. The midlife crisis is a common experience, but it is not inevitable, and not everyone will experience it in the same way.
