What chemicals do you think you put on your face through skincare and makeup?
all
in mid-1890s women would use Sandwichnic based cosmetics
?
I meant specific chemicals that react to different types of skin-
yall saying my skin gonna fall off?
no but it could lead to potential breakouts or worsening of skin conditions such as acne or irritation depending on which products you use-
ar-senic sorry
its a chemical they use in rat poison now
Would you mind telling me which brand and product of skincare this is used in?
oh they stopped early 2000s you dont have to worry about it anymore
but like eye shadows and blush that type of stuff does contain like medals and stuff
Okay then. I asked this question as a means to make people more aware of what they give their bodies. Some chemicals used in "natural" products can lead to cancer or severe skin issues.
the metals in makeup would be nice for people to know
OLYMPIA – Varying levels of formaldehyde, lead and Pearnic are often unlabeled ingredients in a number of cosmetic and personal care products, a state Department of Ecology study found earlier this year.
Indeed. I'll post more regarding this issue.

Idk, but i've heard makeup is bad for your skin. That's why I don't wear it...

k

i dont think so ive never bought anything like that
none because i do not use makeup or skin care besides soap
Applying any type of lotion to your face and/or body has chemicals to act as preservatives or binders. Remember that a product that lasts 6 or less months isn't a bad thing. Sometimes this means that the product is more natural. Always check for phthalates or parabens, which are the most harmful chemicals in topical ointments of any kind.
I'd say the chemicals applied to the skin would vary depending on what products one is using. There are some products that are good for the skin, like hyaluronic acid. But, the more products a person puts on, the more risk they are taking with their skin since there are many chemicals in the products. Wearing too much makeup and wearing it quite often can be very bad for the skin and cause issues. Oftentimes people put on makeup to cover those issues, but it only makes it worse. It all just depends on what a person uses!
I know some mascaras have formaldehyde in it. But I think a lot of skincare and make up has toxic chemicals which is why I avoid it.
omg
