The answer for children's tickets should be 175, while adults should be 125. If they are sold for 8 and 20.

So, since you have sold 300 tickets altogether and there are separate tickets for children ($8) and adults (20) this varies. The total amount paid was $3,900, which means we have to even out and find the numbers of how many adults bought tickets and children.
It gives us most of the problem meaning that there's really only so much we need to do.
